If you would like to create a JSM ticket in your shared Slack channel with Ravelin, please follow the below steps.

Step 1: Give your ticket a title! In the Slack channel - send a message with a few words describing your request. This should be very high level, think of it as a title for your ticket. Simply post the message, like in the screenshot below.

Step 2: Add a ticket emoji 🎫 Now you have your post in the channel, let’s turn it into a ticket! On the message you’ve just posted react to it with the ticket emoji. Simply hover over the message, click the reaction button and search for :ticket:. Note that the emoji may look different depending on your version of Slack.

Step 3: Raise the request You should now see a message appear in the channel from the Assist App, it’ll give you an option to “Raise request” - click on it!

Step 4: Now for the details! Now it’s time to fill out the request form. Here we would like you to choose a category, give us a description of the request and provide any relevant links/URLs. Once you’ve completed the form, click Create!

Step 5: Wait for Ravelin! You’ve now created a JSM ticket! Someone from Ravelin will pick this up and assign it to the relevant team to deal with. Also - you can now treat this like a typical Slack thread, so feel free to add additional messages with further details that you might have missed in the request form.
