Ravelin has integrated with Ethoca as a partner, you can now manage all your Ethoca alerts via the Ravelin dashboard. You will be able to manage alerts that Ravelin has matched to a transaction and customer as well as alerts that are not matched.

When applying outcomes, please remember that the first outcome that is applied and confirmed is what is returned to Ethoca and passed on to the issuer. You can update the outcome again but this will purely be for reporting or internal processes and won't be passed on to the issuer.

Reviewing Alerts

Ethoca Alerts can be viewed within the Disputes list. You can use the filter and search options to look for specific alerts and download any results. Custom columns will let you sort the list by Ethoca specific information, for example when the outcome is needed by or the alert type.

Applying an outcome

You can apply an Ethoca outcome in two places:

  1. From the Disputes list in Explore, if you hover over the alert and open the quick view you will see some information about the alert to the right and the option to 'Apply Ethoca outcome'.

  2. From the menu options within the alert row displayed on the Disputes tab of the customer profile.

You'll then be prompted to apply an outcome. Depending on what outcome is selected, other options will be made available if relevant e.g. whether the transaction was refunded and if so how much was refunded and if it was first party fraud. You'll also be able to include a comment as part of the outcome.
